Expert cloud computing forecast for 2015

A lot has happened in the cloud world in 2014, from price wars to new tools and services - the buzz of cloud was all around throughout the year. However, cloud computing will continue the same way with evolved features in 2015. Here are four predictions by experts for what will happen in the Singapore cloud market in the New Year.

Cloud Computing

Hybrid cloud computing

Hybrid cloud computing will become the norm, leaving behind the arguments about the validity of public versus private clouds. The IT sector will move more towards cloud platforms along with latest hybrid cloud management tools. Industry-wide recognition will dominate, providing the best execution cloud venues of applications, use cases and release cycles.

Cost-effective cloud

In 2015, cloud will be determined to provide cost-effective solutions to the end users, unlike earlier costly approaches. This is because slowing public as well as private users are all pacing towards cloud for better security and tools. To manage everything well economically this approach is essential.

Cloud hacks are unavoidable

More SaaS hacks are coming in 2015, but it won’t be that easy for hackers to crack security of your devices.  However, poor compliance practices and lack of training can give them easier way into your personal data. But securely organizing accessing third-party SaaS services in your system can prevent your system.

SaaS will Branch out into more vertical markets

SaaS will also provide its services to more and more markets in every other field. Therefore, companies like Saleforce.com and WorkDay have decided to stretch their roots more horizontally (stretching out their CRM, HR, etc.). By this, they will introduce into vertical market extensions for manufacturing, health care, financial services and many more.

These were few upcoming predictions about cloud computing as of now, but 2015 might be a great benchmark for the industry to introduce more advance technicalities.
